Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth travel to Ottawa
January 23, 2013
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth recently enjoyed a vacation in Costa Rica, and they decided to extend their vacation by next visiting the Great White North. According to the Ottawa Citizen, the engaged couple was recently spotted in the Canadian capital, and a few of their fans stopped by to take pictures and introduce themselves.
The two were first spotted at the Chapters bookstore in the ByWard Market in Ottawa, and it was easy to tell that they were not from around there since they were not wearing winter coats. Cyrus and Hemsworth, who are from Nashville and Australia, respectively, were decked out in sweaters and sneakers, making it very easy to identify them, according to the news source.
Mounir Khoury, a Chapters employee, felt as though the couple was started to get annoyed at the fact that people were taking pictures and going up to them, but 18-year-old Gregory Fenelon did not feel the same way, as he walked up to Cyrus and asked her to take a picture.
"I finally went over and whispered, 'Sorry to bother you but are you Miley Cyrus?' And she said 'Yeah...I said I was so sorry for bothering her and she said, 'No, no. You're fine, don't worry,'" Fenelon told the media outlet.
Cyrus told Fenelon that she and Hemsworth were in town because their flight was delayed. It was also rumored that Hemsworth, who is known for his role in "The Hunger Games," was in town for a possible movie, but no details have been released regarding the gossip.
